Sunburn peeling? Tape it.

Ok, so, summer is here. Or, at least, that's what we were led to believe before it turned back to the fall temps. Anyway, If you're like me, you forgot to put on sunscreen before your first foray into the warm, summer sun, and now, you're sunburn is peeling. I've peeled it off with tweezers, scrubbed with a puff in the shower, and scrtached it like no tomorrow only to have it get sore and/or bleed. New solution to an old problem.......Packing tape. No, seriously. It works. Just peel from the roll, stick it on your peeling skin and gently remove the tape. It's painless (unless you use duct tape) and it prevents the bleeding and soreness that comes with srubbing. Try it and see.

A little baking advice

Someday you'll come across a bread recipe that says you have to raise it 3 timesbefore baking . Please don't. In the higher altitudes (5,000 to 6,000 ft) it's best to raise a bread only twice and allow it to raise the final time while it bakes. This will give you a lighter, less dense loaf of bread. Enjoy it warm with fresh made honey butter.
